STATEMENT

Viktória Balogh primarily engages with conceptual photography but incorporates artistic solutions in many of her works. She explores the possibilities of visual representation of knowledge and ignorance, examining them through symbols such as erased school boards, empty theater stages, high school notebooks, or the book series "Masterpieces of World Literature" that appeared before the regime change, as well as a garden that visually follows a completely different formal language. She treats various objects as allegories and uses them to inquire about the nature and future of human knowledge.
