’Murmuration’ is an ongoing project that focuses on the subject of cultural identity, kinship, and the diasporic experience as a first-generation immigrant.

Tuan Anh Do uses photography to examine the indelible effects of transgenerational trauma and cultural dissonance influencing his generation. A visual language imbued with nostalgia and reverie; the intimate portraits mixed with dreamlike landscapes evoke a sense of belonging and fulfilment.

His research revolves around fundamental questions about identity, self- representation, and the paradox of how we engage with collective memory.
